We're a Nation that's divided. But why?

We're divided by neighborhoods, upper class, middle class, and lower class. Everything divides us. Colors divide some gangs. Symbols divide neighborhoods. Political party association can turn friends into enemies. Some people with money look down upon those who aren't as financially fortunate as they are. In addition to that some people divide themselves by race, age, sex and other things like the tax bracket they fall under. It's kind of like you're not good enough or you don't exist in my world if you don't make as much money as I make. Let's be honest and let's be real we're a nation that's divided and we unknowingly and knowingly know that we divide ourselves for various reasons from other people. It's African Americans who deprecate themselves or act as though because they're light skinned they're better than blacks who are darker than they are. I don't know why we do but we divide ourselves for no reason. Instead of trying to grow together and trying to work on getting to know each other better and why we believe, think and do the things we do we just shy away from the issues at hand and avoid each other all together. I don't get it but it is what it is I guess. Like Tupac said so many years ago "somethings will never change!" I couldn't agree with that saying anymore because it's the truth!
