Derrick rides with his ni**as and he's been riding for them his whole life. But in doing so he's lost so many people that were close to him. Relatives and close friends. He's retaliated over and over again and that's resulted in other life's being lost as well. He lives in what the media classifies as a war zone and for him just like so many others there's no way out. It's gang gang gang or it's death or it's you defend yourself. He's seen so many different mothers shed so many tears because of them losing a loved one he's sickened to his stomach because of all of the losses he's experienced over the course of his life. At the end of the day retaliation after retaliation has only led to more bodies being left soulless. But all he can do is pour up a little liquor afterwards and reminisce about the good times he shared with his real n***as. Truth of the matter is Derrick is approaching thirty and he's experienced this his entire life. Being gang affiliated has caused him more harm than good which is why he wants to find a way out. But how can you leave when the closes people in your life are all affiliated with the same gang. He's torn. Either he turns his back on some of the closes people in his life or he stays apart of a lifestyles that's certain to end his life the moment he's lacking. Making a decision between the two was never a thought of his until his girlfriend of two years informed him that she's pregnant with their child. Leaving his gang is worse than betrayal that can lead him to his own death because he knows it's not going to be easy to get out of this lifestyle. Either he's going to keep going to battle with the enemy gang or he's going to end up going to battle with those he's called his family for nearly his whole life. His girlfriends not going to be pregnant forever so he has to decide quickly. His next move can be he last move..... to be continued!
