Once Amiee found out that Derrick is wealthy she began to become his biggest groupie. She would constantly throw herself at him just to get his attention with the mindset that he'll spend uncontrollably just to impress her. Derrick could see that she's a gold digger but that didn't stop him from playing along with Amiee. He made her truly believe that he's hooked on her.
