Your goals aren't too big. They're more than conquerable!

Stop saying you can't when you know that you can. Stop saying I'm not good enough when you know that you're truly good enough to accomplish all of your dreams and all of your goals. Life is an obstacle course and it's our objective to make it to the end despite all of the bumps and bruises along with the ups and downs that we all will go through in order to get to where we want to be. Life will through potentially psychologically damaging stones at you that will mess you up mentally. However those mental hurdles you have to recover from but so few actually do. Life with put up a brick wall before you that you must find away through somehow and their are no short cuts. My goals to be a published and successful writer/musician/actor isn't unattainable I will attain it sooner rather than later. I will accomplish all of the goals that I have set out for myself no matter what. No one will get in my way that's why I refuse to bring another life into this world until I have my own life on the right track. That's a problem so many of us deal with we have children before we accomplish our goals and because of that so many of people's priorities changes and that's when you become miserable. That's when you start to treat those around you unfairly because you didn't do what you wanted to do and instead of being proud you have a child when so many can't. You begin to look at your child as a burden instead of encouragement. I don't want anyone to fail I would rather you succeed than fall flat on your face but in order to do so you must know that you can succeed.

High School Seniors it's decision time!

Some people think they can wait until the last minute of high school to decide on their future. The problem is we're talking about reality and a person shouldn't ever make a last second decision when talking about their future. Becoming a high school senior is basically the time when reality truly sets in. It's the time when a person must decide to on their future. Sure there are plenty of other people who plan things out and just map out a plan for their future. On the other hand if you're anything like me or like I would say around my friends a human being you procrastinate about things. Sometimes you put the most important things in your life on hold to take care of the unimportant things in our lives. For instance sometimes we have an important essay or research paper to write but we put it on hold to talk to our friends about our teenage drama or just the drama that we're going through period whether it's with our parents or are friends or family members. We would rather go out and hangout them take care of the necessary things in our lives which leads us to rush to do the important things in our lives at the last minute. In one example my ex girlfriend waited until mid February to apply to a school she had set her heart on for years however she procrastinated. She chose to put the unimportant things first like going out and party just to have a good time and going on road trips just because she wanted to getaway for a weekend or two. Her goal originally was to apply to school in august the beginning of the school year but she allowed nonsense to clout her mind. With her waiting too long to apply she went on the schools waiting list hopeful her G.P.A. would be enough along with her test scores to get her into school by the next fall semester. Instead she stayed on the waiting list nearly a year forced to go to a community college for that year then she had to transfer to the school of her dreams. The point of this story is not to wait too long to take care of the important things. Homework get it done as soon as possible. If you know you have a quiz or exam coming up then study now instead of waiting until the last moment. As far as your senior year sure you love your friends and some of them love you back however they're not going to save you and pay your bills. You have to do that. Therefore you have to make decisions on time and not wait until the last minute. If you're applying to schools now or you're just taking your SAT or ACT then you've waited too long. I wish you luck and I hope the best for you but know this once your high school senior year begins so does your future. It's the year you make the tough decisions that will steer your life in the direction you want to be in. Don't take your senior year for granted because your future is counting on you to not to take it for granted.

Gun Violence in the USA

Another day with more violent acts committed. Innocent lives are being taken daily because of senseless acts by people with no conscience. I'm tired of watching the news and hearing about these crimes but there seems to be no actions done in order to stop these acts. The government still isn't taking any actions to stop gun violence. Of course we the people are responsible for our own selves however when will our government take greater action in cutting off loopholes that will prevent mentally challenged people along with people with a criminal pass from being able to purchase guns. Addition when will our government step up and take more action in cracking down on the black market dealing of guns. Fort Hood which is a United States military post located in Killeen, Texas once more witnessed tragedy when a gun man took the lives of four people and wounded more than a dozen others. The gunman himself suffered from mental health issues. How was this guy able to purchase a gun when he was being treated for his mental health issues? I'm not sure how or even why he was in possession of a gun but any person suffering with mental issues should not under any circumstance possess a gun in my opinion. They will not only put themselves in harms way but they can put innocent people in harms way as well because their mental state can change at anytime. Our government needs to step up and close these loopholes and stop being concerned with the NRA. It's sickening to know that there are people out there who have a deep rooted passion for guns that they're willing to sacrifice lives in order to ensure the universal background check does not go into affect. Why is this? Why wouldn't you want every potential gun owner to undergo the proper background checks in order to be sure they don't have a criminal pass or a mental illness that should prevent them from purchasing that gun in the first place? It's all about money and it will always be about money so unfortunately ladies and gentlemen gun violence will continue. We have the power to speak up and voice our concerns the problem is not enough of us are willing to speak up to be heard. Instead very few of us are speaking up but our voices are falling on deaf ears. Its like being at a rock concert in the nose bleed section and trying to get the attention of the band on stage performing. unfortunately they can't hear you. However when everyone in the nose bleed section speaks up and more people closer to the stage speak up that band can hear you now. Politicians and the NRA knows the problem we have in this country. They just don't care to listen because few of us actually care to speak up.

Self esteem issues

Too many people lack confidence. Why is that? Why do we root for others to succeed but we don't root for ourselves? I've never understood that and in my twenty seven years on this earth I still have no clue why people have self esteem issues. It's time that we stop looking at the models in magazines and think that we should look similar to them. It's time that we not pay attention to the opinions of others and worry about our own opinions of ourselves. We can't control what anyone thinks about us but we can control what we think about ourselves. If we spent half of the time building up our own self esteem that we spend on the time thinking about the people who try to shred our self esteem apart we would get more things accomplished in our lives. Why must we worry about the opinions of other people? Why must we continue to believe that if we're not perfect in the eyes of other people we aren't perfect. Enough is enough and it's time that we change that. It's time that we look at the person in the mirror and know that we are all great in our own special way. There's over seven billion people on planet earth which means there's over seven billion personalities. We're not all going to click heck we're not all going to like one another but that shouldn't stop us from loving the individuality that we all possess. Until we see the greatness within ourselves no one will ever know the great people that we all are. Something as simple as walking with your head held high shows confidence is instilled in a person. High school teens well teenagers period deal with self esteem issues perhaps more than any other age group because they're too focused on the opinions of others. Sure we all want to be accepted by others but it's not worth sacrificing who you are just to please other people. We must take a stand and take that stand today. Enough is a enough and it's time that we all change. We're all great in our own way and for those who do not like it well keep them out of your life because they don't see the special person that you are. Believe in yourself because no one can believe in you if you don't believe in you.

Single Mothers

Stay strong, stay determined, stay focused. A man shouldn't be your top priority your child should. A man doesn't define you the love you extend to your child does. I believe women are the backbone of our world even if other men do not. I believe women makes this world go around even though other people believe it's money. Without women no one will exist on earth so there's no money to be made by anyone. I know too many single mothers way too many. It's sad to say but it's the truth. There are just plenty of men who are unfit to raise a child or even care for one, they're fully focused on themselves. It sucks it truly does because time and time again women fall for the guys who will treat them like garbage. I know that women wish that they could see the future so they would know which guy or type of guys they should stay away from. Never should a man ever walk out on his children. Never should a man ever give up on his child just because he gave up on his relationship with the mother of that child. Men should provide a consent form that they will take care of that child not only financially but emotionally as well. Ever wonder why so many of our youth is so psychologically twisted or damaged? It's because of the love they didn't receive from their parent(s).But to those single mothers out there that unload their children on the rest of the world you don't get my applause. It's tough it's a hard road I'm witnessing my sister go down that road however it's not tough to the point where you give up or you become dependent on someone else. I will make it my priority to help every single mother I can once I become financially capable to help single mothers out even single fathers out as much as I can with an organization that's dedicated to you all. This organization will not be just about helping someone financially but it will help them find a descent paying job as well as providing daycare services that will help them get their lives on track or at least help them keep their lives on the right track. Single mothers you're not alone I'm rooting for you and your child to succeed.

Unfit Parents/Narcissist

Somehow it took me awhile to discover that there are just some people who aren't fit to be parents. Personally I feel that a person should wait until their financial situation is good enough to take care of a child and also the expenses that comes with taking care of them. That doesn't include the money it will cost in order for you to take care of yourself. Now I understand sometimes children comes along unexpectedly which forces people to adjust to the circumstances. For example people that's worked years and years to have a child like my cousin who recently received the biggest prize any person could ever receive and that is having her first child. I'm proud of her but although her child came unexpectedly because her and her husband have tried for sometime to have a child she's finally received the best gift she could ever ask for. With that said they were prepared and are prepared for the financial obligations having a child comes with. On the other hand there are thousands if not millions of people who I believe should hold off on having children. In one example a narcissist. Someone's whose priorities begin and end with them with no time for anyone else. These are the people that should wait to have children in my humble opinion or perhaps not have any children at all. From past experiences which includes relationships with aspiring models and friendships with self prioritize people I know a thing or two about these people. Now I know what you're saying you have to be concerned about yourself firstly then everyone else and yes you're correct. However a child becomes top priority no matter how self absorbed you are and so many people would never put their child's needs before their own and these are the people who shouldn't have children or should wait to have children. A child becomes your first, second, third and fourth priority on your list of priorities regardless if you believe it or not. Their health, the shelter that they sleep under, the food they eat all come before your health, the food you eat especially when their a newborn or a toddler. You no longer come first and I believe that anyone who thinks they should prioritize themselves before their own children are unfit parents and should consider options to prevent them from having any other children or any children to begin with.

Originality

                                           Originality is on the decline. Hollywood is furthering itself from originality year after year month after month day after day. It's time for new fresh films and television shows and I know that I can provide Hollywood with the boost it needs. Stop with the remakes please Hollywood let the classic films go untarnished. Stop with the sequels can we come out with new films. There are talented writers like myself who deserves an opportunity and I'm going to prove Hollywood wrong and show them I'm what they've need for so long.
